I can't play WoT until next month when I can afford the download again. Since I had had wgc running continuously for several days, it had used up ALL my peak hour download allowance and I had been throttled. I tried starting the old WoT launcher but find the shortcut now directly launches wgc., so I tried the old launcher icon in the game directory and find this starts wgc also. I have no idea just what it was downloading (or uploading), as the WoT torrent client was now closed. It wasn't until I checked resource monitor that I noticed that wgc.exe was still running AND USING MY ENTIRE AVAILABLE BANDWIDTH.
I closed all running windows but the connectivity stayed the same. Running a constant ping showed me that extremely few packets were making it anywhere. When the current client download started the torrent client would only download at sub-dialup speed while frequently telling me the speed had dropped to zero and to check my internet connection. I subsequently removed Arena and was left with the game centre to launch WoT.
I got the new game centre after downloading Arena.
